Description

This exclusive grey cast iron post light has a height of 2400 mm. The elegant Berlin Schinkel lantern is either made of steel, grey cast iron and aluminum and is available in colors according to RAL or DB. Alternatively, the lantern is made of brass or copper.

The palmettes on the roof edge are characterizing for this Schinkel lantern, developed by the municipal gas works in Berlin in 1892.

Foundation for the grey cast iron mast light

Material: The luminaire body and the roof are made of V2A steel, brass or copper, conductor and tip are also made of cast aluminum (also for the brass or copper models). The reflector is painted pure white RAL 9010 and thus ensures optimal light dispersion.

In the case of the brass and copper models, wall brackets, conductor rails (lantern holders) and lace are lacquered in deep black. In addition, the brass or copper surfaces are not sealed with clear lacquer fibers, in order to leave them to natural aging (patination).

The paint finish is according to RAL or DB

Luminaire glass: clear, satin or Old-German glass (clear glass with air inclusions) or opal polycarbonate glass.
